Have you ever clicked on an ad or post online and then directed to a web page with more information? That’s a landing page. So, what is a landing page? A landing page is a standalone web page created specifically for marketing or advertising campaigns. If you don't have a standalone landing page, the main page of your website may act as your landing page. We can help you design your landing page or rebuild your website. You then have to increase traffic to your landing page.

There are 2 types of landing pages: Click-through landing pages which redirect users to a desired location via a CTA (Call to Action) button and Lead-generation landing pages which are more focused on collecting data such as information about your customers.

People who need landing pages are people who need to push their products or services online. These can include companies both big and small, multinational corporations, individual entrepreneurs, freelancers, and everybody else whose got something to promote!

Is there a difference between a landing page and a website? Yes. A landing page is more single goal oriented while a website is made for exploring and browsing. But most people have their landing pages as part of their websites.

You are probably on this page because you would like to design your own landing page to boost your sales or collect valuable information from your customers. The good news is, you can build a landing page on your own or if you don't have the time, you can find a freelancer on Apexlistings to help you build a highly converting landing page.

How to make a highly converting landing page.

Before we get into how to create a landing page, always keep in mind that the main purpose of a landing page is to convert visitors into leads.

Now, let’s get to the fun part - making your own.

1. Have an awesome headline

A headline is the most viewed element of your landing page.

You have very few seconds, 20 or less, to capture a visitor. The headline should explain what you’re offering. Always try to keep it under 10-20 words.

2. Capture effectively with a great subheading

The headline’s purpose is to grab a visitor’s attention. Now, adding a subheading will make them stay.

3. Have great visuals

It’s a known fact that people remember more than 60 % of information when it’s hand in hand with visuals. This is because our brains process images thousands of times faster than text.

4. Build Trust

Web users are always deluged with online advertisements and offers. Because of this, consumers have become less trusting. Make sure the content on your landing page matches your ad or post so that users see what they expect.

5. A captivating call to action

The most important element of your landing page is the call-to-action (CTA). The greatest purpose of your landing page is to get the person reading it to click the button. A call-to-action may be a purchase, a registration, a subscription, or even a contact form submission; whichever matches your goal.

6. A/B testing

After you’ve created your landing page, send it out. But make sure to check it against Google Analytics, to evaluate if it’s effective. Then, use A/B testing to test different versions to see which one performs best. A/B testing is a way to compare multiple versions of a single variable, for example by testing a subject's response to variant A against variant B, and determining which of the variants is more effective.

There you have it!
