The freelancer directory is a sub-section of the main website. All terms of service of the main website apply in addition to;
- The Directory and the main website operate as independent entities with different login credentials. This means a directory user cannot log in to the main website with the same credentials.
- Freelancers can only list services within their skills
- We do not encourage sharing personal telephone numbers but business numbers where applicable or you may share social handles and emails.
- Freelancers are encouraged to practice due care whenever contacted for a job. Safety measures include asking for a deposit or dividing the work into small paid milestones.
- We do not take responsibility for unpaid work if you are contacted under the directory. We only offer payment guarantees on the main website where we have a small number of freelancers.
- This directory gives you an opportunity to join the main website through invitation. We source skills based on demand. If you are listed in our directory, you have a chance to move to the main website later as demand increases. Once you become a member of the main site, you get verified and can access jobs posted.
- Buyers who hire from the directory agree to contact freelancers directly and take all the risks. Those who do not want to hire directly will use the employer login provided on the main page.
- Buyers can rate the freelancers from the directory, and we take the time to go through each rating to help us clean the database of incompetent freelancers.
- As the freelancer database grows, we offer limited slots to freelancers who would like to appear top of the list for more visibility at a cost.
- You may refer to the terms of service for the main website for additional information (located at the footer of the contact page of the main website)
