1. What can I outsource?
Apexlistings allows you to outsource small tasks such as converting pdf or image files, transcription, online research, YouTube tasks, data entry tasks, all types of writing, websites & landing pages, logos & other graphics, typing, among others!
2. Do I need a Buyer Account?
A Buyer account is mandatory if you want to post jobs. You have two options to hire.
a) Post a task and wait for bidders (requires an account)
b) Order virtual assistant services
If you find a service that matches what you are looking for, you can contact the freelancer
3. How do I choose which Service to Purchase?
When choosing virtual assistant services consider the following
a) Consider what you are looking for. Use the search functionality to find the services you are looking for.
b) Pricing (while the prices start at Ksh 100 your specific needs may cost more)
4. What are the steps to purchasing?
i) Steps to post online jobs in Kenya
a) Log in to your account and click "Services & Tasks" then click "Post New Task" for FREE
b) Fill in the details and post your task.
c) Freelancers will come to you with their offers. Choose who to hire.
d) Use the "Pick a freelancer" feature to pick one of the bidders, get the work done, and post a review for them.
ii) Steps for ordering virtual assistant services
a) Order any service you want and discuss with the freelancer directly
b) Discuss i) How the work should be done
ii) What the deliverables are
c) Note that we only protect you when you have an account and you hire via the job posting option.
5. How do I minimize risks?
a) Communicate your requirements and deliverables very clearly with the freelancer.
b) Use the website for payments so that we can trace them. This is only available through the job posting option under employer login.
c) Do not share private information such as account passwords and pins. If you have a sensitive task, discuss it with Apexlistings via the email
d) Report a freelancer who is non-cooperative to help us keep our freelancers in check
e) Rate the freelancers after they finish the task so that we know how they performed
Help us make Apexlistings safer
Report a freelancer who;
- Is rude or uses foul language
- Promises but doesn't deliver
- Goes silent on you
- Doesn't seem qualified to offer the service, among other issues you may encounter.
